Rheumatoid Arthritis Flare Triggers

Most people have a fairly good sense of how they’ll feel tomorrow, which enables them to make plans and organize their days. When you have rheumatoid arthritis, this is not the case — a flare of symptoms may pop up out of nowhere and sideswipe your life. Knowing what may trigger a flare can give you a bit more control. My new slideshow for HealthCentral deals with common RA flare triggers:

It can feel as if you never know from one day to the next — even one hour to the next — how you’ll feel and whether you can keep your plans or will be stuck on the couch dealing with a flare. Identifying the triggers that cause a flare can help you reduce the ups and downs and get more control over your life.”
