2017 Calendars and Holiday Cards
It’s that time of year again! The Bay — a large Canadian department store — has been decked out for Christmas since late September and the rest of the world is starting to catch up. Me included. This year, and actually ahead of my normal last-minute schedule. I guess what they say is true — if you want something done, give it to a busy person. Or in my case, someone who is procrastinating doing something else.
I had a lot of fun selecting the photos for the cards and calendars and hope you like them. I know it sounds schmaltzy, but I was thinking of you while I created these items.
And really, if you can’t be schmaltzy at this time of year, when can you?
The 2017 The Seated View calendar is now available in The Shop. I’ve tried to pick a few favourites among the photos I used for this one, but am having the hardest time. Let me know which one is yours in the comments!
In addition to the new calendars and cards, The Shop also has posters, mugs, bags, and other items that can be used for gifts.

There’s also the now-traditional bird calendar. I’m particularly fond of February and March.
And just for fun, I thought I’d do something with the masses of photos I have of ships and boats. Not surprisingly, August is a favourite, although I’m also a bit swoony about June and May
This year, I have three new Christmas and holiday cards.
